metric DIN ISO 13 – Machine taps with reduced shank for through hole thread in cast iron and cast alloys. Due to the titanium carbon nitride coating, the surface hardness increases to about 3000 HV. TiCN is a metallic hard material with a typical violet colour. Advantages: Increased hardness and optimal service life; cooling not required, but recommended.
