Beskrivelse
Short and highly stable multirange drill with outstanding heat resistance and special geometry for optimising chip formation and removal. Ideally suited for assembly work in thin-walled materials such as sheet steels, flat steel and profile steel comprising of medium and long-chipping materials.
HSS Co 5:
Heavy-duty high speed steel with 5 % cobalt content.
High ductility and heat resistance, for drilling holes in difficult-to-machine materials with a strength of up to 1100 N/mm².
Shape C: Split point
Applications: for drills with very strong cores, for particularly tough, hard materials and for deep-hole drills.
Advantages: good centring, little pressure required. Chip spreading improves chip removal.
Disadvantages: perfect grinding only possible by machine.
