Stable special drill. Ideally suitable for deep holes under difficult conditions, e.g. bad chipping materials.
Suitable for all usual drilling work in all normal materials. High rotational precision. For drilling deep holes please use small feed and remove chips frequently.
HSS G:
Heavy-duty high speed steel for drilling holes in easy-to-machine materials with a strength of up to 900 N/mm².
Shape C: Split point
Applications: for drills with very strong cores, for particularly tough, hard materials and for deep-hole drills.
Advantages: good centring, little pressure required. Chip spreading improves chip removal.
Disadvantages: perfect grinding only possible by machine.
