Because of the CBN deep-ground flutes the cutting edges are extremely sharp. Ideal for burr- and chatter-free deburring and countersinking. Best results at low cutting speeds.
HSS:
Heavy-duty high speed steel for drilling holes in easy-to-machine materials with a strength of up to 900 N/mm².
TiAlN:
The titanium aluminium nitride coating offers high heat and oxidation resistance. Suitable for drilling hard materials without cooling.
